Hey Scott, I’m particularly taken with the colours in this picture. Your use of a wide aperture to produce this lovely subtle blue/grey textured backdrop, compliments this vestige of Autumn colour perfectly. Nicely done!

Well done composition. Effective use of positive & negative space. The background creates a setting without interfering with well framed subject. The details are sharp & clear, while the natural light & colour is well balanced.

Thank you for the analysis/critique, Elmediat. I am still a novice’s novice in the photography realm, but your commentary makes great sense. I was just looking for a visually appealing image with the relative close-up shot of the snow-covered leaves. I’m glad it turned out as nice as it did, and technically, too. Thank you again.
