So, that’s how it is! . . . I wake up old, tired, an sore . . . and first thing I get is the bird!

Sorry about that, Emilio…you’ve got to know that it’s nothing personal. 🙂

Thank you, Mary Lou. 🙂

Nice picture Scott! That is one fine looking hen. Do you keep chickens? I have several hens and am a bit of a fan.

Well, thank you, Chillbrook…actually, I do not have chickens…found this one along a side street during one of my walks…couldn’t resist the photo-op. I’m not too sure about liking chickens, but I do rather enjoy ducks…always have, for some reason or another…strike me as cute. 🙂

My daughter very like underground chicken 😀

I’m glad she likes it, Ordered Chaos. 🙂
White leghorn! 🙂

I’ll take your word for it, Lori…thank you. 🙂

Up close and personal again! Nice shot! I love chickens (roosters). They are so dumb, but cute.

Yep…just like that, Gunta. Thank you. 🙂

What is there not to like about THAT? 😉
Thought it was kind of funny, Nancy…thank you. 🙂
Good morning to you as well, lovely way of saying it.

Thank you, Leanne. 🙂

A neighbor somewhere near here has a new rooster and I love hearing him crow in the morning. I’m usually up well before he is, so his crowing doesn’t bother me.

I like hearing them from afar, Allen…or when driving through someone else’s neighborhood…I’m not sure I’d enjoy the guy if he lived next door to me, though. 🙂
May 6, 2012 at 9:18 pm
No, that might be a little close. I’m not sure at how many decibels the average rooster runs, but they are loud.
May 7, 2012 at 3:37 am
I agree, Allen…next door would be way to close. 🙂

Classic shot. 🙂

Thank you, Montucky…nice and clean. 🙂

He has a determined look in his eye, I think he’s on a mission. I wonder what it is?
May 7, 2012 at 1:38 am
He does look rather determined, Finn…I think he was trying to tell me to continue on my walk and leave him alone. 🙂
Great picture! Animals are so difficult to photograph because they keep on moving!!!!! (In my experience, anyway!). This chap reminds me of “bentley” the cockerel who used to live next door. He liked early mornings!!

Yes, they are, Dreams and Zeros…I had taken about ten shots and this was the best/least blurry. 🙂 I’m glad you liked the photo…and hopefully the memories of Bentley were good ones. 🙂
