My husband is in his 24th year as a police officer. Somewhere around his 14th year he and his fellow officers got tattoos of a pig in a tropical shirt leaning against a palm tree. They were holding handguns with the smoke of the shot creating their call numbers. That’s love of the job!
June 24, 2012 at 2:45 pm
That is certainly loving/living the job, Bonnie. 🙂

Are they now arresting Teddy Bears out your way!
June 25, 2012 at 3:33 pm
I think that’s a pig, Andy…the officer is making a joke at the people who call police officers pigs…maybe that’s an American thing? 🙂
June 25, 2012 at 4:11 pm
Apparently, the officer has a good sense of humor!

It does seem that way, Fergiemoto. 🙂

Kinder, gentler police in Salt Lake, huh? Lord! No profiling there … unless you’re a bear.

Heck! It’s appropriately a PIG … Of course! Now, that’s funny. I can’t believe you got lucky enough to capture that! 🙂
July 1, 2012 at 7:39 am
Yep, it is a PIG…I’m glad you got it! And yes, I do feel very lucky to have been there behind them with my camera…at a red-light. 🙂
July 1, 2012 at 7:16 pm

A truly inspired capture, Scott–and I also love your choice of blog title. I hope you’re not on anyone’s short list as a result . . .
