    I like the colors….all natural.

    • Thank you, Mary Lou…that one does seem to provide a warmth of detail. 🙂

    • For not choosing? Whatever…. 🙂

  3. In this case, though I usually tend to favor b&w in artistic shots, I do think I like the color… reminds me of my post visibility and with that too, I went for the color. Just shows so much texture and variation in natural hues. Great shot Scott!

    • Thank you, Robyn…and it is very much like your post, “Visibility.” I think you chose well with the color, too. You had some vibrance in your photo…very well done. 🙂

  4. I’m glad you posted both Scott. I’d struggle to choose too.

    • Thank you, Chillbrook…I appreciate the validation…even if Disperser thinks I’m a wimp for not choosing! 🙂

  5. I like the colored version because you can see the colors of the stones.

    • I’m glad you can see these colors, Allen…they do bring another dimension to the photo…warmer somehow.

      • Oh I can see colors just fine-I just can’t tell you what many of them are. I agree that the color photo is warmer. Black and white has its place but I’m not sure that it is meant for these objects. In the end though, it is all just personal preference.

        • Oh, ok…and yes, it is all personal preference with regard to the B&W or color effect.

  6. Definitely colour! Adds interest despite the subtleness of the colours.

    • B&W actually makes it like an I spy photo!

  8. I love….the difference in the things my eye is drawn to in color vs B&W…..Nice work!!

    • Thank you, Kirsten…I think the different presentations do cause us to see, and maybe even feel different things about the photos….
