Thank you, Gunta…just ran out to the truck for a second and had to turn around and run back in and get the camera…this beauty can be so fleeting. I’m glad you enjoyed it. 🙂

Thank you, Victoria…very nice words. 🙂
I think this shot is a little warmer than my previous one of the park bench under snow…..

Looks otherworldly Scott — fabulous shot — like the sun is melting into the sky and cloud formations 🙂

It does have a bit of that other-world quality to it, doesn’t it, Robyn…thank you. 🙂

This is a lovely sunset. I like the way you framed it so dramatically with the shadow trees. This is good composition!

Seemed like it needed those trees like that, George…thank you. Right off the front porch…. 🙂

Hi Scott, you did well to keep the colour in that sunset, and is that smoke drifting on high? I do hope not.
July 29, 2012 at 5:34 am
Thank you, John…I think I missed the richest moments of the sun’s color when I had to run back into the house for the camera…and yes, I believe it was smoke drifting up there…it was there this morning, too. There’s still a fire burning on the other side of our western mountains, just south of the Great Salt Lake…seems to have added a bit to the sky….
