That’s a BIG sky! And cactus too – I don’t see those on the fens around Cambridge 🙂

It is quite big out here, Finn…and I’m surprised you haven’t found any cactus like that around Cambridge…you’ve found so many other wonders! 🙂

The promise of a new day…..of each new day……blue skies with a little cloud…….and with the hope that the blue helps us through the grey….
Lovely photo Scott.

Beautiful words this morning, John…thank you.
Scott, this is simply lovely. A whole different sort of serenity from your mountain images. You almost make me want to drag my sorry a** out of bed in time for the sun coming up….. but I wouldn’t have no saguaro to add to the scene.

Thank you, Gunta…and yes, very different than the photos from my mountains. I was hoping to see my old desert home with a different eye…intentionally looking with a different perspective. And yes, silly, get your a** out of bed a bit earlier…it’s wonderful at such an hour…saguaro or not. 🙂

Gorgeous combination of a wonderful sky and an interesting silhouette of the surrounding land and plants.

Thank you, Meanderer…when making preparations for the trip down here, I was hoping to be able to capture some similar shots…hoping the morning light would be satisfactory, the clouds would be up there over the mountains…and that I would be able to find a suitable spot with the cactus in the foreground…. I’m happy with the results. 🙂

Very much so, Karen…thank you.
The clouds here were very similar looking this morning… sort of spotted with little cotton balls and then drifts of softness. So lovely!

Thank you, Naomi…clouds can be so alluring…sometimes deceptively so.
