A somehow quite intimate landscape; nice one Scott.

Thank you, John…I think those delicate flowers add a tenderness to the desert background.
Don’t know what those glowing plants are, but you captured them well in the morning light – they look like they have little gold LED lights attached to them. I’d be interested in seeing you do a study of them..

Thank you, James…I took close to 30 photos of the dried flowers and the cactus/fence background, hoping to capture a few good ones. That’s an excellent idea, too…will have to go through them again….

I’ve never seen the ocotillo bloom….. you’re showing us the beauty in what many consider a desolate landscape.

They have pretty, red tassels on the tips of their long stalks…quite a sight, actually. I’m glad you’re enjoying the photos, Gunta…thank you.

Lovely image. I too, like the ‘layers’ of colour in the composition.

I used to have a large cacti collection and I’d love to see them growing naturally.

They can be very pretty out in their element, Allen.
How appealing! I love the way the light catches the railings – giving balance to the image with the lovely fluffy flowers!

Thank you, Meanderer…I was hoping the metal railing wouldn’t detract from the image…seems to have done okay, though…..
