Desert Wildflowers….

Revisiting the photos that I had taken for yesterday’s post…from along the road somewhere in north Tucson, Arizona, USA.

Thank you to James for suggesting a series on my desert wildflowers.  If you haven’t visited with James at his site, James Brandon O’Shea – Oregon Artist, you’re missing a treasure.  James’ art and poetry are often compelling beyond description and it’s easy to get lost in his archives.  I encourage you to stop-by….

  1. I particularly like the last one. The change in angle and outline of distant hills improves the composition over the previous shot (at least for me).

    • Thank you, Emilio…those distant hills do add a nice touch.

  2. To quote Wayne’s World: I am not worthy. Glad you did this – the first and third images definitely satisfied, and I like the context that the other two images put them in.

  5. Great pictures Scott, the light gives them a surreal quality. I especially like the colours in the first one – it would look really good in a frame.

  10. Victoria

Wonderful light & I can almost see the real grass shimmering in the golden sunlight.

This is what nature photography is all about to me – giving the viewer that sense of being there in that moment that you pressed the shutter button.

    • I think I was a bit fortunate with these…the sun was rather bright and I often couldn’t see the images clearly in the screen…. I’m glad you enjoyed them, Victoria…glad you could be there alongside the road with me.
