Beautiful but you must not be afraid of heights 😉

This is really spectacular, Scott! Looks like fairly treacherous footing, though–glad you were careful enough.

Thank you, Gary…and it was a little freaky crossing that bit of snow, and more that was beneath me and out of the frame. And yes…very careful…thank you. 🙂

There’s a pretty special feeling associated with walking along a ridge that’s easy to remember when viewing this. Do you get that feeling, too?
November 7, 2012 at 9:14 pm
That’s a very intense feeling, James…a certain serenity and wonder all mixed together…. I’m glad you know what it’s like….

Thank you, Dreams and Zeros…thought it made a nice self-portrait. 🙂

This one is certainly breathtaking…. I’m so glad I got caught up to see this. Makes me think of the song “on a clear day, you can see forever”… this is certainly beautiful, Scott.

Took my breath away, as well, Gunta…almost literally, getting to the top of that ridge…. I’m glad there was nobody with me when I made it there…I simply didn’t have any words to share with them at the moment…was just looking, turning and looking again, and turning yet again…”seeing forever….” And thank you, Gunta…I’m happy you enjoyed the photo. 🙂

What a view! Top of the world indeed.
It’s wonderful that you are in this picture. Planting a shadow instead of a flag… =)

It is incredible, Karen…and I was glad that my shadow could be there, as well….
