I agree that there is something very special about these trees, Adrian…I love walking beneath them, pausing for a minute or two, or several, and just listening to the breeze stir their leaves or watching the way the light plays through their canopy…and then noting their contrasts when the leaves are absent…. Thank you….

In the right light and from a distance, young aspens are easily mistaken for birch here.
