Wow. The riders are such a part of the landscape here. This one is special. You emphasize the vastness and unforgiving land, but you can clearly see the riders crossing it, at their own peril, perhaps. That is the thesis of the image. I think.

That snow-covered and rock-spotted hillside rose quite significantly higher than what you can see here and I wanted to include more of it, but it seemed to overwhelm the horses and figures. I like your analysis, George. 🙂
