sunset flight

Late December, 2014…an uncommon presentation of a common-enough occurrence in the Desert Hills of north Phoenix.

    • It was almost dangerous trying to walk back to the truck while watching the sky…tripping over rocks and things…it was a very alluring scene.

  3. Ah, to have been able to see what the lucky passengers could–on the other hand, could it have been any better than what you were able to, with them in the picture as well?

    • Excellent question, Gary…maybe the perfect mix would have been to be up there in the basket making images of the other balloons against the sunset-lit sky…. That would have been incredible. 🙂

    • Yes, Allen…lots of beautiful skies…and lots of balloons, too. I drove past a morning launch over the weekend that included close to a dozen balloons in their various stages of filling and rising into the sky…and I didn’t have my camera with me….. 😦
