Sycamore Canyon Wildflowers

Coming after the last post where I revisited a sun-drenched mountainside of Wasatch wildflowers, it’s only fitting that I come back to reality and the desert of my current home and share some images that are more recent and represent the local beauty as I have found it in Sycamore Canyon….

  2. Very nice. I’ve not gone out this year for one of my “drives in the country” to get some of the wildflowers. I may be, in fact, too late for it.

    • Yes, it is, Terry, but I think those Wasatch Mountain wildflowers offer them some pretty serious competition!!

  7. The flowers there are beautiful and must also be tough. Except for the cactus flowers I don’t think I recognize any of them.

  8. Think I’ve seen some of those blues thingies here……well they were blue with green leaves.
So now you know that I’m pretty ignorant of floribundii……..but they be pretty. It’s odd really because I was walking down this track yesterday heading to Balcary Bay and I actually found myself taking flower pics. Something I rarely do…..somehow can’t get the angle on em like you do Scott!
