    • It was amazing, Gunta…and rather short-lived, as well…10 minutes was all they needed to disperse and go on their way. That would have been a nice call to the boss though…. 🙂

    July 3, 2012 at 2:36 pm

    • It was a very short-lived pleasure, Bonnie. I think the clouds had thinned and nearly disappeared in about 10 minutes….

  14. … My eyes rose up to the heavens and the Face of God shown down upon me with all His Glory! He raised up my spirit and He Glorified it among all His Earthly Domain, and I was blessed in his sight, not by my will or deeds, but by His Blessed Grace!

    Thanks for sharing Scott.
(I wonder if I will ever get up early enough to catch such skies?).

  17. Mmmmm .. fickle minded clouds, captured beautifully.

    July 5, 2012 at 11:58 am

    • Yes, they can be so fickle sometimes, Pattu…and so pretty on this morning. Thank you.

  18. I know exactly what you saw there and there is absolutely no way to capture it in its real glory, but you did a fair job here. It’s interesting to me that we are never allowed to record all the levels of light that we see through the lens. I stopped trying. I just look at them now and sigh in wonder. Watching the sight that you just recorded is breathtaking. I could feel it looking at these images. Good job, Scott.

    • I’m glad you could see what is missing, George…as pretty as the photos are, the real thing was more incredible…and it is strange how we just can’t get it all…all of those levels of light…but we keep trying, don’t we? 🙂

      July 6, 2012 at 8:53 pm

  19. Wow. Those streams of light are amazing. I’m sure it was far more powerful in reality.

    July 9, 2012 at 9:45 am

    • Amazing indeed, Naomi…and it was much more powerful…standing there in my back yard looking up at them. 🙂
