(From what I hear, I wouldn’t be holding my breath waiting for Spring, Scott – I suspect it will be a wee bit longer before it arrives on your side of the world).

Thank you, Victoria…it seems that we’ve moved past the snow for the season, although it’s impossible to tell, here right next to the mountains…we have had snow in May before…and are having a bit of rain for the next two days or so…but no, I will not be holding my breath waiting for it….

How lovely to step back into time while you anxiously await the scenes to turn green. It’s what I love best about photography… that step back in time.
Gorgeous image, by the way. It reminds me so much of those sweet, luscious spring days (all two or three of them before it all turned to oven hot.) 😀

There is a bit of that time-traveling when we go back into our archives, isn’t there…? Seems that we can even feel the moments of being there again, taking the shot…hoping it will turn-out right. Glad you enjoyed the image, Gunta…even if it did remind you that it would be really warm in a few days…. 🙂

Spring is coming. I like the green reflection too. Altogether a sweet image. Dean developed the market in the southern half of the country for Hancor, Inc., a plastic drain tile company out of Findlay, Ohio. They were the first to manufacture and sell the corrugated drainage pipe in this photograph.

Thank you very much, George…and yes, I do see Mother Earth waking again…more and more each day. And I would say that Dean, or Hancor, or someone else must have done very well for themselves, because I see that corrugated pipe all over the place out here. 🙂

Those were the good old days when companies spent ridiculous amounts of money promoting their products and their sales people traveled, entertained, and slept first class. 😉 Dean enjoyed those years. And I enjoyed the retreats in the fancy resorts too! And so it goes…
