  6. Scott,

    Absolutely Spectacular!!

What am I doing in Arizona in 105 – 113 degree weather when I could be in Utah enjoying late spring and early summer?

    Am I crazy or what?

    • Thank you, Steven…and I have no clue why you’re still down there…none at all. I have no doubt that you and Karen would love it up here…. 🙂

  10. How did you get the water to stop moving for you lol!

    June 14, 2012 at 5:14 pm

    • Oh, it was really tough, Bonnie…I just pushed a button and it stopped for me! 🙂

  11. WOW. This is really effective in color. I remember the river in B&W. Totally different effect. I like both, but the color here brings it to life. So many shades and tones and textures. Wonderful photograph! 🙂

    June 14, 2012 at 5:42 pm

    • Thank you, George…and the color does bring out the warmth of the earth…even though there is snow in the picture and the water was rather icy, it has that enveloping warmth to it, I think…. Thank you again for your kind words. 🙂

  12. Beautiful place to spend the day just poking around, trying to understand nature. I always feel more alive and more connected when I’ve been to such a place.

    June 15, 2012 at 6:33 am

    • Thank you, Allen…and it is a beautiful place for exploration and learning. I’m with you on my feelings after having been out there…always wistful, almost sad, in leaving…and so yearning to return in a few days.

  13. The sound of the water foaming over the rocks always impresses on me that nature is present and totally active: and bringing the valley to life. What a wonderful world it is that we live in. Also great opportunities for studies of flowing water and wet rocks here. Its great to be able to come back with memories of a place like that. Thanks Mr B for bringing it to the rest of us.

    • I love that sound, John…water over the rocks…feels so alive like that…truly wonderful. I’ve seen many sea-shore photos from your Isles, and a few water falls, as well…and can imagine the memories of being there with them is similar to being here with ours…strikes to the core. I’m glad you enjoyed the glimpse into my part of the world…and you’re very welcome for sharing it. 🙂

  14. Wonderful! Reminds me of my childhood when I spent summers frequently stream fishing in northern Utah. It’s so peaceful and relaxing in the canyons next to the water. I haven’t fished for years.

    June 15, 2012 at 6:15 pm

    • I can imagine that it is very similar to the setting where you spent your summers fishing in your childhood, Fergiemoto…just a few (several) miles down the road. 🙂
