Seems the contrast in environments couldn’t be any different. Quite the change from your previous outings. Still, this has a prickly beauty of its own.

Yes, Gunta…contrasts in the extreme…but still pretty. I hope to be out exploring soon…will have to get out Very Early. 🙂

The creosote is pretty dense in this particular spot, Allen…other places, and not too far away, are incredibly different.

Well, this really is lovely. I dunno’ about the rest of the desert, but I do see a small mountain! Be careful in the heat, Scott.

Thank you, George….and yes, there are a few small mountains out there….and yes, too, I shall be careful in the heat. My excursions have been early morning and evening thus far…..
